Morning Pickup

Our journey commences with collecting participants from various designated pick-up points in the morning. The duration of the bus ride to Omalos may vary depending on the location of your hotel/apartment.

Bus Journey to Omalos: 3 hours

*There will be a brief 20-minute stop for restroom breaks and snacks.

1st Stop: Omalos Plateau

Before entering the gorge, we halt at the Omalos Plateau to ensure everyone is fully equipped or to obtain any last-minute supplies before commencing the trek.

2nd Stop: Samaria Gorge – (4.5 – 5) hours

Witness the awe-inspiring Samaria Gorge, the longest in Europe, which offers magnificent views of the White Mountains, the gentle river flowing through the gorge, and the captivating Cretan wild goats (kri-kri). This unforgettable journey through Cretan nature spans approximately 18km and is guided by experienced tour guides. Duration of trek: 4-5 hours

3rd Stop: Agia Roumeli

Nestled at the exit of the gorge by the Libyan Sea lies the picturesque village of Agia Roumeli. Here, participants can unwind with a refreshing swim at the beach and savor a delicious lunch at one of the local taverns. Later, we board a boat for the return journey to Chora Sfakion.

Boat Trip: 1 hour

5th Stop: Chora Sfakion

Upon arrival at the village, we board the buses and commence our return journey to the resorts.

End of the Tour – Return to Resorts

Participants are then transported back to their respective hotels where we initially gathered in the morning. The duration of the return journey to the hotel may vary depending on traffic conditions and the locations of pick-up points.

Return Bus Journey to Heraklion: 3 hours

*During the return journey, there will be another brief 20-minute stop for restroom breaks and snacks.
